Chiyere Arinze

Undergraduate Degree: In December 2021, she received her BSc at Georgia State University. She studied Psychology with a concentration in Pre-Medicine.

Public Health Interest and Experience: Her interest in Epidemiology began in her second year of University. She took a Research Methods and Data Analysis course. She explored research design, data analysis, and scientific communication in application to research questions. During the course, she traveled back to her home country. She had the opportunity to meet with an Epidemiologist. She learned about the importance of Epidemiology in relation to disease and injury prevention. After the meeting, she wanted to pursue Epidemiology. In the future, she aspires to reduce the health challenges that developing nations experience.
