Ruth Scruggs

Hello! My name is Ruth, and I am from Asheville, N.C. I graduated in August of 2022 from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s in public health and a minor in psychology. I chose to pursue an MPH because I hope to better understand the application of public health in different settings and further explore other field areas. My interests include global health, infectious disease, and maternal and child health.
