Concentration: Epidemiology

Hometown: Clayton, North Carolina

Undergraduate Degree: BS in Public Health Education from UNC Greensboro, CHES certified (2022).

Public Health Interest: I am still looking to find my “niche” but my overall interest surounding: Survey methods/analysis, chronic disease epidemiology (as it pertains to women’s health) and examining the built environment.

About Me: I was first introduced to Public Health during a genetic counseling internship I had in the summer of my junior year of college. In working at this internship, it exposed me to the world of chronic disease epidemiology. Upon completing the internship, I continued taking internships in any Public Health capacity that I could; from Blue Cross NC to working at the Women’s health center at UNC Greensboro. The field of public health continues to amaze me and I am captivated by how vast and ever changing the field is.
