Masters Program Overviews

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program at UNC Charlotte is an interdisciplinary program designed for administrators in a changing health care environment. Attentive to the specific needs of our students, the program addresses the academic and professional expectations of those seeking to establish careers in the field as well as those currently employed in health care administration. Our graduates demonstrate competence across the core health administration domains of leadership, critical thinking, health administration sciences and quantitative analysis, management, political and community stakeholder development, and communication. The Master of Health Administration degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).

The Master of Public Health (MPH) prepares graduate students through research and practice experiences to apply core principles of public health education within a variety of community settings and to advance the public health profession. The MPH degree is fully accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
