Why I chose the MPH program at UNC Charlotte: I was first recommended to the MPH program at UNC Charlotte by my friends and colleagues in the Charlotte area, many of whom had completed graduate degrees at the university. After reviewing the program for myself, I realized that UNC Charlotte had a lot to offer students and matched what I was looking for in a graduate degree program. I liked that the MPH Program at UNC Charlotte was located in the city that I grew up in, offered in-person classes, and had a concentration that I was interested in pursuing (Community Health Practice).

About Me: In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, giving back to the community through service, and trying out new restaurants in the Charlotte area.
